Ray of Frost is a wizard spell that damages and freezes enemies caught in the beam, slowing their movement and attack speed.
Sweeping Wind is a combo skill that lashes out against all enemies surrounding the monk, creating a vortex of damaging wind that increases in damage and radius across three stages.
Crimson - Beam increases in damage the longer it remains in use, to a cap.
Indigo - Wizard is surrounded by a swirling vortex of sleet, damaging any foes that come into contact.
Obsidian - Decreases beam damage, but increases reduction in target movement and attack speed.
Golden - Arcane Power cost reduced.
Whirlwind is an iconic Diablo II skill, wherein the barbarian spins furiously and damages any enemies in his path.
Alabaster - Enemies slain by Ray of Frost have a chance to leave an area of ice on the ground where they die, damaging other enemies if they move through it.
As for the no LAN play, I think everyone saw that coming from a mile away. Not for me.
lol that's just a random Q4 date that they stuck on there for the heck of it. It was announce to be coming sometime in 2011, but I would hazard at a January release.
They wish they knew the ETA
One thing about blizzard is they know how to make games. They also know how to market them.
And what better way to announce one of the most anticipated Betas at their own convention –Blizzcon
(that fired tester said the same I know)
Have a look at the blizzcon site - notice how d3 gets the prominance through out the site and if SC2 beta was anything to go on in terms of how long the retail will be released after beta – is about 6months.
If it means the game wont be as buggy or whateva then idont mind waiting for D3 to be released.
D1 and D2 were just awesome. Even the music...just watched some vids of the music on youtube, brings back such memories.
Date will be released at blizzcon 2011 which is end of October, as timeline table from blizzard show d3 should be end of this year, have to wait for blizzcon and see.

Diablo 3 forum
-I guess until we read about comments from beta testers (when it eventually hits beta) we'll have to just wait as usual for all Blizz titles (except for WoW which seems to be pushed through pretty quickly in comparison - but I understand that the subscription model is their biggest cash cow).
-Dude even the beta testers (who understand the actual dev methods not like the jerk O in that thread we read) will praise the game more as it gets improved from alpha , im pretty sure blizzard knows how high the stakes are with d3 , its critical they get it right because "we, the world" are watching.
Ye i saw that - there are some dodgy things thou. Like the whole NDA thing, you would think blizzard would shut him up if it was true... i mean they have to sign the NDA.
But I read some of those spoilers and i will say. the guy is damn imaginative if he is lying because some of it sounded epic
The one about tyrael or the one how you enter act4
Somehow my prev post dissapeared but anyway .... long story short , if its a mix like he said, then i wouldnt mind a d3 story mixed with torchlight + mp + custom d3 engine with whatever is extra.. should be interesting after all the years we waited.
-I'm inclined to think most of what he says is true. It seems sensible enough. I think whether or not the levels are boring is a much harder thing to quantify.
Cluster Arrow is a powerful demon hunter tool, as it fires a cluster bomb which explodes on impact, releasing smaller bombs which explode shortly thereafter.
Crimson - Increases the damage of the explosion at the point of impact.
Indigo - Fires enemy-seeking missiles instead of grenades.
Obsidian - The Cluster Arrow is launched high into the air and rains down grenades.
Golden - Instead of grenades, the skill spawns shadow creatures that attack nearby enemies and leech life to the demon hunter.
Alabaster - Adds a stun effect to the grenade explosions.
Diablo III beta
Diablo 3 is still only in beta, but some footage is being released. Check out the main site for continual coverage of media released by Blizzard.
A lot of you are probably wondering at this point why Diablo 3 is taking such a long time to come out. There are a lot of reasons people have suggested for why.
i say hes speaking 50% of the truth , as soon as i saw the spoilers i skipped a few lines .... like the others said on that thread , this panzy forgot that he was actually testing the alpha game and that it was ofcourse going to be lame ... srsly . I would give my soul to becoming a d3 game tester !
After reading some of it I really do hope he is just a troll because it'll mean one of two things if he isn't:
a) a D3 that doesn't live up to expectations (and I'm pretty sure we all have high expectations for the big III)
or
b) Blizz realizes this and takes even longer to release.
Acid Cloud is a witch doctor skill that summons an acid-spewing spirit, raining caustic, skin-dissolving death on the unfortunate enemies below.
Golden - Afflicts enemies with a disease effect that deals damage over time.
Alabaster - The witch doctor belches forth a directional pool of acid.
Crimson - Causes immediate damage instead of a damage over time effect.
Indigo - Increases area-of-effect radius.
Obsidian - Spawns slimes that attack nearby enemies.
