Since Blizzard raised the equipment drop rate

I Impact on the item drop rate Since Blizzard raised the equipment drop rate, there are a lot of players did a lot of experimental data, from N (N>108) group of elite set of drops to a description that the impact of MF equipment drop rate. For example there is a player of the MF +190 in the A2, but lvl66 of his yellow equipment drop rate is around 2%, but according to Blizzard's 1.0.5 update file, we can see that the lvl63 equipment drop rate is at about 9% in the A3. Such a large difference, so a lot of players are perplexed, some said, lower the MF, the yellow equipment lower drop rates, even players believe that the MF for item drop rate is just useless. In response to the above two categories of issues, personally think that MF from D2, Blizzard interpretation refers to the players that can appear more with the property equipment, but does not specify the rare equipment, legend, or a set equipment.
II Impact on the yellow equipment and legends According to the official data shows that in Inferno---A6, item drop rate of Lvl63 is 9.3%, item Lvl62 is 18.8%, item Lvl61 is 29.3%. From the data point, Blizzard released the data should be built on the 0MF. For example, there is a player play the Rainbow off after a week, says the MF completely useless and dress up previously in monster before dying, 0MF can still appear the legend now. However, some players said, after wearing MF and making small monsters are basically out of the yellow equipments. To this end, the MF with yellow equipment and legend is there any relationship? And the MF did not affect drops all items, that is to say, if you killed a elite monster before, you can get a ilvl63 and one of lvl61 items, while when you take 1000%MF to kill, it is the same of the same 2 items, but you can improve the chances and legend turns yellow equipment and legend, that's it noting more.
Again, Blizzard didn't announce to us what probability of the white equipment turned the yellow equipment. However, we can know the Blizzard this probability is modified from playing the Diablo 3. In addition, we know lvl63 yellow equipment also has 5-6 properties, general Acura are 6 properties. Day of the Blizzard change rate, I do not know if you have not found that mostly items drop with 6 properties, but mostly 5 properties now. So we can clearly feel that appear the Acura equipment rate much less than before now. Of course you can buy Diablo 3 Gold at our store to buy the lengendary items.
Therefore, we just to know that the MF with regard to items drop rate, just only improve the chance of the items turned the yellow equipment or the legend. Рlease write comment on my blog!

Diablo 3's real-cash auctions begin in the Americas

Diablo 3's real-cash auctions begin in the Americas Diablo 3 sold more than 3.5 million copies on its launch day, a record for a PC title Continue reading the main story Related Stories Diablo sets PC game launch record Diablo III players report a bug Diablo III game finally launched
The publisher takes a cut of each transaction, securing a new source of profits. It has warned that subscribers found guilty of using hacks or other attempts to cheat face a lifetime ban. Diablo 3 takes place in a horror-themed fantasy world in which players team up to save their land from monsters. Activision Blizzard has launched the video game Diablo 3's real-money auction house for players in North and South America. The facility allows users to buy and sell objects found in the title using real currency. Its in-game auction houses - in which gold, weapons, armour and other materials can be bought and sold - were originally supposed to have been launched on 22 May. However, the move was delayed following reports that some users had had their accounts hacked, and that items and characters had been stolen. Small steps Blizzard has now opted for a more limited launch. Auctions are initially restricted to equipment - commodities will follow at a later date - and several currencies including the Brazilian real and Argentine peso cannot be used yet.
"We are rolling out the elements of the real-money auction house separately to ensure all of our players have the smoothest possible experience," it said on its blog. "We'll have more information on the availability of the European real-money auction house and the remaining American currencies soon."
The firm has also introduced a range of security measures. Players wishing to pay for transactions through its proprietary Battle.net system must either download an identification app to their smartphone or buy an authenticator - a physical device that produces a digital code.
Those wishing to buy goods via PayPal must sign up to a separate service that messages a special code to their phones which must be re-entered to complete the transaction. The game's auction houses allow players to buy or sell items for real-world money Chinese bots The Tech in Asia blog reports on one of the potential problems facing the title. It says some users there have already created software applications - called bots - which carry out automated tasks in the game. Blizzard has said such activity constitutes a breach of its rules. A recent forum update noted that "several thousand" players had already received account suspensions and bans for "cheating and/or using botting or hacking programs while playing". The firm has invited users noticing suspicious activity to email its teams so it can look into the problem. "Blizzard is legitimising the process of players transacting between themselves within the game," said Ed Barton, director of digital media at Strategy Analytics.
"This has been happening for some time in other online games but often it was user-driven and only grudgingly tolerated by the game's operators. "I think it's going to be a little while before the whole process settles down as far as Diablo 3 goes and there may be some odd occurrences such as wildly fluctuating pricing in the meantime. Cautious gamers may wish to wait before getting involved."

Order Diablo III today!

Diablo III Diablo 3 is everything Diablo 2 and more. Crystal-clear visuals make Sanctuary look better than ever before, and there are a whole host of improvements from new Crafting to new followers to new Skill Runes and a revolutionary Auction House.
Despite extensive stress-testing, Diablo 3's global launch was bound hit a few snags. And sure enough, as the 23.01 deadline passed and BattleNet servers opened worldwide, literally thousands of gamers started a mad dash to install the game, promptly crashing servers … as it did again the following day. It may have been a delay rather than a disaster – and it certainly didn't stop me racing through the first act before breakfast – but it did reflect many people's top pre-launch concern: Diablo 3's need to maintain a constant internet connection. Blizzard insists this is to ensure that characters can only be levelled up in one way to prevent fraud as well as retain security and control. In terms of gameplay, first glance reveals everything you would expect from a Diablo sequel: five playable character classes, roughly divided between close-range brawlers like the Barbarian and Monk and rangier characters like The Wizard and Demon Hunter. And, for sheer strangeness, there's the Witch Doctor – whose Demon Dogs skill fast became my defence of choice. For the first time, I was also able to make him a her, even though gender has no bearing on anything but appearance and voice-over. Nevertheless, having already lost some progress and booty between checkpoints myself, it's clear this latest multiplayer intrusion will rankle some single players deeply – at least until Battlenet returns to its usual, stable self. Of course, there are some advantages to having your character ID, stats and items stored online, but more about that in a moment. Once in the game, it's clear that the new 3D engine has been put to work on rendering a level of detail we haven't seen in the series before. Superb lighting effects make even Act 1's formulaic dungeons seem more atmospheric, but once you reach Act 2's Caldeum and beyond, more spectacular locations and draw distances emerge. Enemies may have a tendency to swarm mindlessly towards you, but they come in large numbers and reasonable variety.
Not every improvement pays off, however; there's far too little destructible scenery and context-sensitive traps – such as falling chandeliers or rolling logs – sound like a great idea on paper but require such careful lining up of enemies you won't be troubling with them after the first few attempts.
There's improvement as well as innovation, particularly with the UI. With a permanent Portal spell to take you back to nearby towns and a much smarter way of choosing and comparing items, you can now focus on the important task of killing things.
However, in the 12 years since Diablo 2, RPG combat has moved on in leaps and bounds and D3 seems determined to stick to its tried and tested brawling system. Certainly there's a plethora of pyrotechnic skills for each character, most of which can be customised with up to five Runes each, opening up some fascinating alternative strategies for each class. But the way this is organised onscreen is confusing, with skills taking precedence over weapons by default and no clear overview of the powers you already have, let alone aspire to. Combat itself is fast, furious and varied, with early standout attacks such as the Monk's Exploding Palm or the Barbarian's Wrath of the Bezerker even more impressive once fully runed up. However, compared to the fluidity of, say, Kingdoms of Amular, D3 battles still feel disjointed and unnecessarily frenetic – particularly when taking on the exceptionally mobile Bosses. There's also a tedious "cooling down" period once a rune is activated and even longer after taking a Health potion. At least slain enemies now drop orbs that can be collected by running over them but this tends to give you abundant health at precisely the moment you don't need it (ie, once the danger has been eliminated). Diablo 3 Combat also remains crippling on the fingers thanks to mapping moves and primary attacks to the same mouse button which too often results in charging enemies you should have tackled at distance. Meanwhile, when you have NPC allies, they offer little in the way of real assistance until fully upgraded – by which time your enemies have taken a quantum leap in hardness themselves. And what of the adventure? Well, it's set around 20 years after D2 and once again Sanctuary is under attack from hellish forces. It's a subtle introduction, avoiding lengthy cut-scenes except at the start of each of the game's four acts in favour of dropping pieces of "lore" that play out while you continue adventuring. Add to this some top quality voice acting and an stirring soundtrack and D3 works fine as an unfolding story without winning any prizes for original fiction. And although most of the side quests are formulaic search/fight type affairs, there are now many more of them – which means more loot. However, die-hard fans know that Diablo has never been about finishing the adventure, it's about levelling up your characters and discovering the most valuable items. D2 players were only able to trade between team members, but Blizzard has annexed all this into D3's own, secure but rather bleak Auction House. Now anyone can trade items for game credits or (among other players in your region) real cash with early visits revealing weapons and armour far in advance of anything NPC traders at my level in the game were offering. It remains to be seen how this will affect things in the long run, or how long it will take fraudsters, spammers and cheats to find some way to spoil the party. However, it's already clear that capitalism has arrived in Sanctuary – perhaps hinting at another motivation for D3's need to be always online. But there are other advantages too, most notably the way co-op play has now been fully integrated. This means you can instantly access a random four-player public game from the main menu, or start playing alone and then invite friends or the wider public to join in. Diablo 3 Either way, the game registers which enemies you kill so that you don't have to fight off thieving teammates and all experience is saved to your player profile. Co-op D3 may feature the same single-player levels, but it's only here where you get to appreciate how months of beta testing have paid off. Having invested time and effort in levelling up a character, co-op is the best way to see the others in action and it's well worth the experience. Playing with a Monk/Witch Doctor combo is nothing like taking it on as a Barbarian/Wizard, and when it comes to customising your characters for co-op you need to consider how particular skill/rune combos serve the team rather than just yourself. The ultimate test of this character and stat-balancing act is Inferno – a rock hard difficulty level unlocked upon your character reaching level 60 at the hardest difficulty setting. With each Act then increasing in difficulty, adjusted to how many players are taking part, it's D3's ultimate challenge and will surely secure the game's biggest bragging rights for the team that first cracks it. Needless to say, I'm still many levels (and a lot of combat experience) short of that, but it's certainly something to aim for. So the key question remains, was Diablo 3 worth the 12-year wait? That depends on how you play it – for single players, it's an entertaining and gorgeous-looking dungeon hack but it's a bit short, extremely linear and hardly pushing any boundaries. Playing online (and Blizzard isn't really giving us a choice) makes it a better balanced and more compelling challenge, with all the potential to be the kind of lifestyle substitute that Diablo's legion of hunter-gatherer fans should relish. With global demand still in a feeding frenzy and PvP levels under development, let's hope the servers can cope. Set twenty years after the events of Diablo 2, Diablo 3 looks to offer a faster and smarter combat system, with unprecedented levels of depth. Featuring heroes, loot and cooldowns on potions as well as new resource-management mechanics, Diablo 3 offers a wealth of new - whilst remaining a definitive Diablo experience, accessible to veteran Diablo fans and newcomers to the Diablo universe alike. So with the armies of the Burning Hells on the move, it's up to you to save Sanctuary and end the war once and for all! Order Diablo III today!

Preview Diablo 3 Crafting Guide

06/12/2012 Preview Diablo 3 Crafting Guide In my view, majority of reagents will be in good use for selling the auction house. Designers have put highly emphasizes on offering varies roadblocks you own when training your artisans. No matter what kind of materials would be in urgent supply for fellows, you can choose to sell unnecessary crafting materials rather than the armors, which does not apply to your skills system. All you do is to collect handsome amount of Diablo 3 Gold in order to gain equipments in the shortest time. More Diablo III Gold you will gain, more powerful your character will be!
In Diablo III, crafting is divided into down into two NPCs, including non- player characters and computer controlled characters. These NPCs are considered to become crafters. If you gain chances to unlock these NPCs, they are more suitable for crafting during the unlock process. Your crafting NPCs are capable at providing a variety of recipes and skills. A large number of Diablo 3 Gold will be in urgent need to craft super weapons and gems. Skill points and crafting items will be obtained based on a gold/reagent fee Generally speaking, some lower-level recipes acquire to be accumulated in the first place.
Crafting will have a significant effect on leveling up all characters based on materials and gears. The hardcore won not integrate into softcore artisans most of the time. As for the next part of the Diablo 3 crafting guide, majority d3 fans are looking forward to see each Artisan who starts with the Blacksmith and ends with the Jeweler. In other words, owe to crafting in D3, more time won not be spent in sitting in front of the artisans. Рlease write comment on my blog!

Buy diablo 3 gold

Blizzard's started to ship Diablo III to warehouses worldwide, and the Collector's Edition is looking damn cool on Australian shores... Since more and more diablo 3 players want to buy diablo 3 gold online, before they put into practice, they always think about the question of whether buy diablo 3 gold will get account banned or not. Some people say that it will always get you banned and that it is against the rules. Others say that it is fine because you are not paying for d3 gold, you are paying for the time it takes to farm the gold.If you are still confused about this matter, let's see the cases of diablo 3 banned for buying gold in 2012 at first.
Case 1. Sally didn't have the experience of buying diablo 3 gold before. In this June, she was seized by a whim and bought 5000k gold for diablo 3 from a good looking website. After she placed the order, the supplier contacted her and told her to wait in game to trade diablo 3 gold. However, her gold was delivery after waiting for an hour. But by the time Sally was trying to use gold to by diablo 3 items, she was forced to exist the game. There was a notice report,Sally's account was temporally forbid to enter the game.
Case 2. Nick is a diablo 3 enthusiast,he usually buy d3 gold from a fixed website and never got banned before. Yet he has six characters reached Lvl 60.Because of the great needs of diablo iii gold for different high lvl characters,he tried order a larger amount 10000k,five times more than before. That amount of diablo 3 gold was delivered in required time as usual. Unfortunately,Blizzard easily discovered the abnormal manner and banned his account directly.! Case 3. Jesson bought diablo 3 gold from an unknown website which claimed to provide the cheapest d3 gold. Before Jesson buy diablo 3 gold from them, the supplier showed prices from five different websites, and indeed, the price from them was the cheapest. So Jesson was attracted to buy gold for d3 from them. After knowing these cases of diablo 3 banned for buying gold in 2012. What do you think of this phenomenon? Why Nick's account was never banned before the last time he tried for larger amount? Why unexpected thing happened to Jesson once he tried with the cheapest price? Why Sally's account was banned after she recieved gold ? It's easy to explain if you think about it carefully.
In fact, its easy to buy gold without getting banned if you know the tips you should care. It's true that Blizzard has the ability to read all the text and mail in the game. But try to find a good site that doesnt make it too obvious thats you bought the gold. Some even let you make out what the letter to you says to help you not get banned. Generally speaking, Bllizzard won't bann your account if you know: 1.Don't easily trust cheapest diablo3 gold because most of them are illegal gold hacked from other players. 2. Don't buy gold for too large amount. You can buy 30-50k for most, keep in mind never buy 10000k at one time.Or you if you insist on this, you'd better make gold delivered in five more times. 3. Choose fast delivery website to get diablo 3 gold face to face fastest. Of course, the game's servers don't go live until the afternoon of the 15th, says my local Blizzard source, so even if someone magically breaks street date, the game's just going to be a fancy box until then.
That said, that CE sure looks neat - keep an eye out for a complete un-boxing gallery when we get our copy, and a review soon after.
Straight from the Atomic forums to you... proof that copies of Diablo III are in the country as we speak, as the game is shipped to warehouses ahead of distribution to stores for the May 15 launch. I share, because, a) I love, and b) the pain of knowing they're practically here is killing me. After chatting with Jay Wilson last week, I seriously need this game. Рlease write comment on my blog!

Of the Diablo series

Of the Diablo series
Diablo III is being developed as the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series. Players will create a hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian or witch doctor, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline and engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, theyll grow in experience and ability and acquire items of incredible power.
The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced Hells armies -- and were fortunate enough to survive -- went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.
Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level.
I don’t see the point in pre-ordering a digital copy. It’s not like they are going to run out. I don’t need the box of software in order to play the game or save on the download time. It might be nice to buy the collector’s box set just to put on my book shelf. I have the Diablo 2 collector’s edition and all of the World of Warcraft collector’s edition sets. I had to build a special shelf for them all.

Diablo III Finally Gets a Release Date
Blizzard's long-awaited action-RPG will be available in May 2012.
March 15, 2012

Blizzard has announced Diablo III will launch on May 15, 2012. You can pre-purchase the game now through Battle.net.
Diablo III is one of two products expected from Blizzard in 2012. The developer is also working on Heart of the Swarm, the next version of StarCraft II, and Mists of Pandaria, an expansion to its popular MMO World of Warcraft, and has not clarified which will launch in 2012.

In recent months Blizzard has announced that a few features had to be trimmed to make this launch date, including the PvP mode and Mystic artisan. Blizzard's current plan is to patch the PvP mode in at a later date.

Do you think D3 will be the roaring success that D2 was?

Do you think D3 will be the roaring success that D2 was?
If they focus on gameplay this time instead of insanely OP graphics as with SC2, they might have another hit. 22 game updates later, SC2 still isn't balanced sufficiently. Terran is OP.

Diablo 2 was one of my favorite games of all time. D3 can't be half bad if it's anything like it. (IMO)
I haven't looked into the details, so I couldn't say whether I expect it to be as wildly popular as D2, but given the explosion of games studios and developers, I can't see it capturing the market share that D2 had back in the day. Too many competitors.
A) there will be dyes to customize your gear
B) you think every class will have just one set of armour?....umm...ok...
you know this isn't WoW, right? They're not "tier" sets or anything...
C) again, you think this is the only monk set for endgame? rare items (which will most probably be better), possibility of more than just one unique/set item per slot, etc...let's ignore all that, and instead choose to NOT play the class because we don't like...one...set.......visually.....wow

dying will make it look slighlty better but from what i saw so far monk is worst looking for sure not just one set...all the sets are just plain awful and if you think they look cool than you will probably shiet your pants after seeing DH and BARB armors; sadly monk armors dont even compare, anyone with a slight taste in anything will agree with me,
I am sure there will be many many more armor pieces in the game but what they reveal atm is supposed to give you an idea of what your character will look like end game.
And I dont like it.

Rich kids will get inferno world first.

Rich kids will get inferno world first.
Topic for provocation but face it. Blizzard`s "bet" on how many months it will take for someone to beat inferno is laughable. From the massive game pool you are bound to found few grown-ups with good salary job and skill to play the game and this results in the following:
Once the edge of the core gamers start to reach the end hell / inferno drops the RMAH will start to get stacked and the guy with the $$$ can gear up he`s char to the teeth in probably the first week when people have realistically started to get items from those difficulty levels and why? First of all the average in-game resource value (gold and items) is really really REALLY low compared to real life currencyso a player not putting real money to the game will have an impossible task of keeping hes characters geared up compared to the RMAH guy.
and face it. D3 PvE is hack`n`slash so the skill cap reguired is not exactly high so what is left is the item gain and rich kid got that covered too so the first week when hell items start to poor to the AH you will see inferno world first. It kinda depends if teams are better than solo though who will get it but it will have RMAH in main role.
I think there should be achievement for beating inferno without using RMAH. The problem is that GAH and RMAH are connected so it is basically impossible. Maybe there should be like ironman achievement in similar fashion like the WoW ironman challenge. "beat inferno without using auction house and not sharing anything through shared stash, gold included.
edit: i do think RMAH is against the spirit of competition present in games. RMAH alone is ok, but there should be mode for the competitive players too. Right now the inferno first is like having a 100m run and one guy buys a scooter and drives the 100 metres :I.

Blizz stated that there would be no world first achievements, so your argument is moot!

I would gladly aid rich kids in getting good items, it really doesn't bother me if they finish inferno before me or others as long as I get some $$$.

If and when pvp is added you'll just have to deal with it, D3 isn't an e-sport and isn't pvp oriented, rich kids will have better gear and will probably pwn you!

Wizard is not mobile enough (too long teleport CD)

Wizard is not mobile enough (too long teleport CD)
You havent played the game so you have no idea how much mobility you will actually need contra what you have of slows, snares, teleports, damageprotective abilities, and how they synergize.
I think this is something you need to wait to see for yourself. Cause thats what I assume it is, but the text seems to say its a 1 sec CD THEN the normal CD starts, effectively adding another second to the CD. And thats just a bad rune, so I assume thats not what it means :P .

They are going to be the most mobile from what I can see with the Wormhole rune... you could spam tele until arcane depletes (there's no restriction of doing it over and over again)... if Im not reading it incorrectly...

There are two possibilities:

Monks are the fast melee class, Barbarians are slower but still melee.
Demon Hunter is basically Assassin+Amazon, a ninja style ranged class.
I don't see anything wrong with Witch Doctor and Wizard being somewhat slower so long as they make up for it elsewhere.

Witch Doctors have pets, Wizards have armor spells and plenty of frost spells.
Since they are both casters they'll probably also deal a ton of damage.

You do your first teleport -> 1sec time limit in which you can do a second teleport and maybe a third if you're really fast -> cool down starts
or
You do your first teleport -> 1sec time limit to do your next teleport -> new 1sec time limit to do your next teleport -> new 1sec time limit to do your teleport -> etc.... -> cool down starts, when you decide not to teleport during the 1 second or you run out of mana

What is YOUR Diablo 3 star sign?

What is YOUR Diablo 3 star sign?
With just a month away from release, the star headed for Tristram Cathedral is already brightly glowing in the sky. But the stars tell us more than just what the ancient prophecies want us to believe. They are astral manifestations of our own personalities. They mark the beginning of an era of different play styles, attitudes, accomplishments and competition. Who are the heroes destined to vanquish evil once more? And more importantly, what is the path to glory they intend to take? What is YOUR Diablo 3 star sign?
Zod, The Treasure Hunter
You search the dark crypts and dungeons of the world to find ancient objects of value. Not only armour and weapons interest you, but your eyes light up at the thought of finding that Radiant gem, or that chest full of gold. You care not to rush through the acts. You play at your own pace, so that you will not miss that one urn or box bearing the treasure you came for.

Cham, The Unstoppable
Noone can hold you back. Your primary goal: Ridding the world of evil before anyone else does. You constantly play with that end of the tunnel in mind. You are going to get there first! And if evil grows stronger, you are only more eager to win the race. But the thought of not being able to succeed is perhaps a greater evil to you than the Lord of Terror himself.

Jah, The Survivor
Pondering on what type of armour to buy next, you gear yourself to be feared among your foes. No army of abominations is going to break you. You just stand and laugh while hundreds of hideous creatures hack away at you. Their efforts are in vain. Whether you are ahead of everyone else, or cleaning up the remains, you take comfort in the thought that noone can harm you.

Ber, The Socialite
While those barbarians and prophecy-crazed warriors are fighting at the frontlines, you seek new friends and foes alike, in-game and on the forums. Whether you prefer a casual conversation or a fierce debate, you know that socialising and communication are the best weapons in this world's struggle to not lose one's sanity.

Sur, The Skilled
Watching others armour themselves with loot, treasure and products of crafting, often with great frustration, you realise that true power comes with mastering your skills. You practice and optimise your key- and mousebinds, active and passive skills and you care about every nanosecond wasted. Whenever your opponent acts, you react. You know your enemies and their combat styles like the back of your hand. A hand that is your only true friend in even the most difficult of battles.

Lo, The Loremaster
Who believes that only the strongest and most fearful of combatants will be able to defend this world from the forces of evil, is clearly mistaken. Deckard Cain is your role model, and destiny and prophecy are your keywords. Surely, the scholars and wizards of this world did not spend their lives writing books and stories because they had nothing else to devote their minds to. No, they knew it would give them valuable insight in the future of this world. Knowing every bit of history is your idea of a battle, and you strive to come out victorious!

Ohm, The Knowledgable
While Loremasters are your best friends, you care not for the past. Today and tomorrow are far more important. You train yourself to be omniscient in the arts of bestiaries, items, storylines and all the distant lands waiting to be explored. You'd only move to a bigger house if there'd be no more space left for the books and maps you decorate your house with. Knowledge is what seperates good from evil, and you intend to claim every bit of it. Perhaps you'd even go though the lengths of making a fan website, to share your knowledge with the rest of the world. One day, you hope to be as knowledgable as the great explorer Abd al-Hazir.

Vex, The Troll
Serious is a curse you have freed yourself from. You take pleasure in taking pleasure away from someone else. Though you will not wear the colours of evil, mankind hates you unanimously. But that is what drives you. You do not bore yourself with goals and achievements. They are overrated. However, in a world of evil and magic, you sometimes worry what fate has in store for you.

Gul, The Completionist
You are not necessarily the fastest, but you are the most thorough. Your goal is to get every achievement, every item and explore every nook and cranny of every dungeon you encounter. Leaving things undone frustrates you. And while the fastest may get their achievements before you do, you know that, ultimately, you'll catch up and reign supreme.

Ist, The Egoist
You may be a player, but more importantly, you are a customer. A customer who paid for things! And that means that you intend to take advantage of everything you're entitled to. You know that success is guaranteed, because if you can't reach the end, surely Blizzard will nerf the end towards you. You care not for how things affect your fellow player. You strive to win the battle in your own ways, regardless of what it takes.

Mal, The Contributor
You know the world isn't perfect. But one can still aim for perfection. Together with your help, this world can be cleansed of evil, but more importantly, bugs, glitches, imbalances and lacking features. You write books of suggestions, contributing your player perception to those who made your game experience possible. It is your ultimate dream to see your ideas become the instruments of game entertainment.

Um, The Unsure
Tread carefully, because evil lurks in every corner. While many others have mastered the world of Diablo, you are but a noob. But you know that while it can be a weakness, it can also be your strength. You take extra caution when discovering the secrets this world holds to you. Your source of discipline is not an orb on your screen, but your skills to not succumb to carelessness.

Pul, The Puller
You cannot wait to start the battle! Better destroy the Bastions of Hell now, than a minute later. Time is of the essence. You care not for preparations and feeble instructions. You know you're half a winner if you can strike by surprise. Some day you will pull the wrong foe. But that day is not today! CHAAAARGGGEEEE!!

Fal, The Failer
You died the first time you fought an urn. You salvaged your Uniques and you wonder why Blizzard makes act bosses appear in packs outside some backwater village gate. Evil cheered the day you logged on. You lost your right arm in a town portal. Every effort you make seems to end in failure. You constantly ask yourself if this is the game for you. But at the end of the day, you know the road to success is long, but you're well on your way.

Lem, Le Millionaire
You resigned from your job the day Blizzard annouced the Real Money Auction House. You know that feeding your fellow players' constant desire to wield an even greater and shinier weapon - at any cost - will become your eternal wealth. Treasure hunters are your employees. You have trade, undercut, buyout and sell all set as active skills. Your mission is not to destroy evil, but to destroy the competition!

Ko, The Co-oper
You have an army of brothers and sisters who fight alongside you. Co-op games are your home. You only gain satisfaction out of fighting in a team. Together you are stronger than one. Guild and clans are what is necessary to bring justice to anyone who dares to threaten the safety of this world.

El, El Siesta
If half your questline consists of relaxing and taking naps and breaks, perhaps you align more with this star sign than you think. Why should killing the forces of evil be a troublesome and timeconsuming thing? Surely someone is willing to take over for a bit while you explore the shacks and mansions looking for a bed. But don't think you are useless or unmotivated. It is said that true warriors hide their skills and strengths, until the moment they are ready to be unleashed upon their enemies in full force!

Sol, The Solo-er
Who needs friends and companions when you can do everything yourself? Evil doesn't hide in cathedrals, it hides in chat channels and co-op games. You know that if you accomplish your goals, you and you alone can take the credit for it. But while not requiring a helping hand is your greatest pride, it is also your greatest nightmare.

Thul, The Thrillseeker
You can't wait to start your first Diablo 3 Hardcore character. You like to fight with the constant possibility of losing your character permanently. But that is what makes you stronger. Your perception of the End Days is that you will emerge from the battle unharmed and gloriously, and mankind will worship you before anyone else who didn't take on the challenge to vanquish evil the hardcore way.

So, tell us what your Diablo 3 star sign is. :)

All classes have few really good looking sets

All classes have few really good looking sets (so +1 /hatoff to the designer) but there is bound to be some turbulence on who likes which set best and i for one am not so lucky that barbarian last set is the most awesome so how about adding a armor transmog to D3 in some form? I like some of the earlier sets to be more appealing visually and would like to continue to use those even with my best gear ... WoW incorporated this theme already so i don`t see any fundamental reason to not do so in D3 too?
Also WoW term to piss everyone off and read the thread. It worked didn`t it?!
Classic example of a nerd who completely fails to troll.

Transmog makes you able to take your "best" piece of gear and make it look like your favorite visual gear. Meaning if you have the hots for an older set you can wear that and still get the benefits from the better set that unfortunately looks butt ugly due to designers running out of ideas.
Now this is in NO WAY a bad idea to implement in diablo.

Will Diablo III be available on Windows and Mac simultaneously?

Will players interact with any familiar faces or places in Diablo III?
Yes, definitely. Players will return to Tristram and certain other locations from the previous games and they’ll also be exploring new areas of Sanctuary. Players will also encounter several new characters as well as a number of characters from the previous games including Deckard Cain.
What will questing be like in Diablo III? Will it be similar to Diablo II?
Our plans for the story and quest mechanics are still under wraps. We’ll go into detail on those elements of the game at a later date. We can say, however, that we expect to have class-based quests in addition to the main story-line quests.

What are the system requirements for Diablo III?
We’ll announce specific system requirements at a later date.

Will Diablo III be running on a new engine?
Diablo III is powered by a new graphics engine that can display characters and hordes of monsters in lush, fully 3D environments. Powerful special-effects and physics systems allow for realistic object dynamics and cloth simulation, and enable players to lay waste to the minions of the Burning Hells in spectacular ways.
When will Diablo III be released?
It’s too early to estimate Diablo III’s release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, our goal is to create a game that is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible. We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players. We’re aiming to release Diablo III on both Mac and Windows simultaneously in as many regions as possible, and to localize the game in several languages. We’ll have more details to share about countries, languages, and specific dates as we get closer to release.

Will the game be released in multiple countries? Will the release be simultaneous? Which countries and what languages will Diablo III be localized in?
As with all of our games, our goal with Diablo III is to release the game simultaneously in as many regions as possible, and to localize the game in several languages. We’ll have more details to share about countries, languages, and specific dates as we get closer to release.
How much will Diablo III cost? Where can I buy this game?
Pricing and availability for Diablo III will be determined and announced closer to the release of the game.
Will Diablo III be available on Windows and Mac simultaneously?
Yes. As with all of Blizzard Entertainment’s recent releases, Diablo III will ship for both Windows and Mac simultaneously.

How did the new demon hunter character class come about?

How did the new demon hunter character class come about?
When we set out to create the fifth class, we knew we wanted to add another ranged character to the game. However, we also wanted to create a class that was more sinister than the typical ranger archetype. In the end, we came up with a character who has a personal vendetta against the demons and who will stop at nothing to eradicate every last trace of evil in Sanctuary. While the demon hunter primarily uses traditional ranged weaponry such as bows, crossbows, or even dual-wielded one-handed crossbows, the class is also incredibly proficient with gadgetry, traps, and deadly grenades. The demon hunter has dedicated an entire lifetime to training to destroy demons, and few can rival her skill.

Will Diablo III still have randomized events?
Diablo III builds on the random environments of the previous Diablo games by adding random scripted events and encounters throughout the game, creating a dense and exciting world alive with quests, NPCs, and dynamic encounters.

What is the story of Diablo III?
The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced Hell’s armies — and were fortunate enough to survive — went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.

What can you tell us about Battle?
Diablo III will benefit from Battle.net upgrades that will provide some exciting new features for players. Cooperative online play remains a primary focus, with multiple enhancements being planned to make connecting with your friends easier and cooperative play even more fun. We’ll have more details on all these aspects as well as other exciting new features at a later date.
What will Diablo III be rated?
The Diablo III rating will be determined by the ratings boards in each region. We still have a good amount of work to do content-wise, so we’re not quite ready to submit the game for ratings yet.

How will PvP be implemented in Diablo III?
While Diablo III is designed primarily for cooperative multiplayer, we are building in support for competitive player-vs.-player gameplay as well. We’re focusing on team-based PvP in an arena setting, and we are being careful to avoid PvP features that can easily lead to griefing, such as the ability to go hostile at will. We also plan to integrate Battle.net’s matchmaking system, a progression-based ranking system, and more.

What is Diablo III?

What is Diablo III?
We’re developing Diablo III to be the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series. Players will adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline, engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, growing in experience and ability, and acquiring items of incredible power. Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level.

Which characters will be in Diablo III?
Players will create a male or female hero from one of five distinct classes — barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk, or demon hunter — each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. New customization options will provide for an even greater level of character specialization than the previous Diablo games, allowing the player to create unique characters brimming with power.
top
What can you say about the different classes?
Returning from Diablo II, the dual-wielding barbarian is one of the stoic guardians of Mount Arreat.
The fearsome witch doctor hails from the terrifying Tribe of the Five Hills of the legendary umbaru race. The witch doctor is equipped with spells and alchemical powers; can summon mongrels, locust swarms, and zombie armies; and hurls fiery concoctions to annihilate any demon foolish enough to trifle with the powers of the umbaru.

Retooled with powerful new abilities and moves, this plate-wearing savage wields ferocious weapons to annihilate the demonic forces threatening the world of Sanctuary.

The monk is a skilled warrior of unparalleled dexterity. Armed with speed, holy fervor, and a quest for physical and spiritual perfection, the monk becomes a deadly apparition in the heat of battle, moving faster than the eye can follow to strike down enemies with a barrage of lightning-fast blows.
The wizard is a wielder of the elements and a master manipulator of time, who combats the hordes of the Burning Hells by launching environment-shattering lightning bolts, channeling explosive arcane energies, and creating pockets of space outside of the normal flow of time.

The demon hunter has a sole purpose in life: to track down and destroy every last demonic being that dares to threaten humanity. Lithe and notoriously deadly with a pair of dual crossbows, the demon hunter brings an entire arsenal of arcane gadgets and mystical traps to the battlefields of Sanctuary.

Kravt and better runes.

Kravt and better runes.:

Consider the properties of the runes on the example of the ability to Hydra (Hydra)

In the original form of skill completely moved out of Diablo 2 – Sorceress creates in the location of fire hydra that spits fireballs at nearby enemies.
Alabaster – creates purple hydra, which attacks the “secret” injuries (apparently changing element attack).

Crimson – creates the blue hydra, which attacks the pieces of ice.
Golden – creates a giant hydra, an attack which causes damage to the area.

Indigo – blue creates a hydra, which attacks the lightning that never miss.

Obsidian – is the green hydra, attacks which are poisonous in nature.

The developers have confirmed that Mystery (one of kravterov in the game) will be able to create and improve the runes, although there is no specificity in this process.

Runes in Diablo 3

In the demo version of the game presented at BlizzCon 2009 runes looked like this: Now, about the change of skills (skills) with runes. At this point, the assurances of the developers of this game still in raw form, for example, for the class hunter of demons and still not invented by the properties of the runes. What is known:

In a change of skill will be a random factor.
Changing the skill is only improves the side.
Improving the runes can be removed, stored there with Fleece – remains a question.

Change of habit change and its visual part. The developers say that the runic system takes them a huge amount of time. All in the game about 150 skills and add to it 150h5 = 750 modified skills. In sum, they have to “draw” 900 types of skills.

Each type of rune gives a unique skill change, and the developers are trying to make each type of change, playable, thus creating an infinite number of ways, “pumping”, but generally include the following changes:
Alabaster – major changes (Wild card functions).
Crimson – adds fire damage.
Indigo – multiplies the skill (for example, instead of one faerbolta flies a few).
Obsidian – major changes (Wild card functions).
Golden – reduces the requirements (mostly MP) skill.
Only for some runes can be assumed to change, for others the changes can be found only practical way.

Consider the properties of the runes on the example of the ability of toads Plague (Plague of Toads)

In the original form of skill creates frogs that attack enemies (translation skills are not quite sure who knows best – write.) With improvement:

Alabaster – Toad extra dazzle enemies.

Crimson – Fire Toad inflict additional damage.

Golden – reduces the mana cost.

Indigo – creates a “rain” of frogs that attack at the point indicated.

Obsidian – creates one permanent huge frog, which eats the monster entirely. Maybe eating some of the leaders (possibly at high levels runes), but not the bosses and big enemies.

Diablo 3 Beta download (2011/ENG/PC)

Diablo 3 Beta download (2011/ENG/PC): Features:
- Five very different classes.
- The game takes place in the same universe as the effect of the first two parts – Sanctuary.
- The game will use a new graphics engine and physics engine Havoc.
- Maps will be generated randomly.
- The player can interact with the objects of the landscape such as walls and use them in battle.
- We will be able to return to Tristram and certain other well-known locations, as well as to meet Deckard Cain, and other characters from the previous parts of the game.
- There are quests that are unique to each class

Runes in Diablo 3

Initially, a small excursion into history. Runes appear in Diablo 2 LoD – they were items that can be inserted in the socket armor and weapons. Beside the properties that give the runes can be collected some runewords, and receive a special set of properties.

In Diablo 3 on such a concept rejected (though can still beat a hundred times). Now, runes are not things improve, but … Skills (Skills)!

With the change to skills is not easy – a little harder to beat, or more range, but mostly skill varies dramatically. Examples of changes in skills a little further, but for now consider the types of runes, there are 5 types: Crimson, Indigo, Obsidian, Golden, Alabaster.

Diablo III book of cain

Love your dungeon crawling experience fast-and-furious? Get a load of the new Monk hero class in Blizzard's epic third-installment to their legendary action RPG, Diablo III.

Diablo III is being developed as the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series. Players will create a hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian or witch doctor, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline and engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, they’ll grow in experience and ability and acquire items of incredible power.

The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced Hell’s armies -- and were fortunate enough to survive -- went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.

Blizzard have announced that it will be Dave Grohl and his band Foo Fighters that will close out the show on 21 and 22 October in Anaheim, California. Previously acts like Ozzy Osbourne and Tenacious D have been featured at BlizzCon, so it's obvious that rock and orcs go hand in hand.

There are five runestone types: Crimson, Indigo, Obsidian, Golden, and Alabaster. Each runestone affects skills differently. For example, adding a Crimson Runestone to a skill may enhance its damage, while adding an Alabaster Runestone might add a stun effect.

You’ll be able to place a runestone in each of your seven skills by opening the Skills screen. A rune’s specific effect on a skill is explained through a tooltip.

In addition to their color, runestones also come in different ranks of power; the higher a runestone’s rank, the more dramatic its effect on the skill. Experiment, and discover which skill and runestone combination best suits your personal playstyle.
To see examples of how different runestones enhance your various skills in
Diablo III, check out the skill videos below.
